The beautiful aroma of balsam fir brings a smile to my face. My first formulation with balsam fir was a gentle bubble bath to which a few customers at a recent pop-up asked" "do you have anything else in this scent?" The last batch of our "Happy and Bright" spray sold out - yay!

What's a phthalate and why are they a no-go for our brand?
Health effects: Despite their short half-life in the body, continuous, low-level exposure is linked to respiratory issues, particularly for sensitive populations like children. Phthalate exposure has been associated with:
Asthma: A 2018 study found that exposure to certain phthalates, like DEHP, worsened pulmonary function and airway inflammation in asthmatic children.
COPD: Research has connected phthalate exposure with increased exacerbations and worse symptoms in adults with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
